Cabert
Cabert is a family-owned winery located in Bertiolo, Italy. The winery was founded in 1960 by a group of local winegrowers who were passionate about producing high-quality wines.
The Cabert philosophy is to mind every phase, “from pruning to wine tasting”, relying on expert technicians and oenologists to guarantee the wine obtained from perfect grapes coming exclusively from the Cabert vineyards. It is an authentic guarantee of high tradition, the image of which is confirmed in the villas, the age-old residences of the landowning families.
Cabert wines are made from grapes grown in the Grave region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The Grave region is known for its cool climate and its sandy soils, which are ideal for growing grapes.
Cabert wines are known for their elegant flavours and their refreshing acidity. The wines are made using traditional winemaking methods, and they are aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months.
Cabert wines have won numerous awards over the years, including:
- 2022 Decanter World Wine Awards: Gold Medal for Cabert Pinot Grigio
- 2021 International Wine Challenge: Silver Medal for Cabert Sauvignon Blanc
- 2020 Vinitaly: Bronze Medal for Cabert Merlot
Cabert wines are available in over 20 countries around the world. They are a popular choice for both casual wine drinkers and wine connoisseurs.
